The adventures of Pinocchio (Review)

A handmade marionette, whose name is Pinocchio and that happens to be that kind of boy who refuses to obey his parents  suffers the consequences for his behavior. In a village from  Italy, Geppeto, a dapper little old man and bad tempered,  is given a wooden stick by his friend, a carpenter, and he starts working on his new project, a marionette. When he's done with his project, he realizes that Pinocchio is a desobedient boy who even escapes from home. Geppeto, the talking cricket and the blue fairy try to teach Pinocchio how to be a good son and about good manners but he still doesn't obey,  therefore he's robbed, imprisioned and almost killed.

This is a well constructed novel with elegant writing and well-described characters, who are very wise and who also guide and teach children about the importance of obeying, listening to their parents and good manners. This is a fairy tale that relates events children should try to understand.

The tale is written in a style accessible to any reader. The language used is understandable and appropriate for those kind of tales.

This is an excellent story I would recommend to everyone, especially because it has a deep message that not only tell children how to behave and how to be a good person, but all kind of people.
